So therefore in this article, I will deliberate more on possible guidelines on how to recover deleted text message on your iPhone.
It’s obvious that the best and easiest way to restore or recover deleted text messages is from “BACK UP” if your backup is turned on you can recover deleted text messages on the iPhone. The only thing you have to do is to reset your phone then restore from backup. In iPhone There are two built-in ways to backup your phone which will help you retrieve those deleted messages, they are:
  • iCloud Backup
  • iTunes Backup
iCloud Backup: To recover your deleted text message using iCloud backup, the first thing you need to do is to go the “settings” at settings click on “General” and then click on reset. Note you’ll need to restore a backup created before you deleted the messages, which may cause you to lose other data if you haven’t backed up in a while.
You can check when your last backup before you resort to drastic measures. To do this, go to settings, click your name at the top of the screen then scroll down to an iCloud backup.
The slider is set to On. If it is, click on the iCloud Backup label. Here, beneath the button that reads Back Up Now, you’ll see the last time that the phone was backed up to the cloud. Sadly, you can’t see a full history of backups.

iTunes Backup

Step 1: The first thing you have to do is to connect your iPhone to your computer using a USB cable
Step 2: Next, click and open the iTunes icon in front of your computer.
Step 3: Click the iPhone icon at the top left corner of the screen.
Step 4: Tap on “THIS COMPUTER” and then click on the button written, “BACKUP NOW.” This will take some time from more than ten munites to several hours. When the backup is complete, please close the iTunes icon and remove your iPhone you connected to your computer from your computer.
Step 5: Now open the iTunes software, click on the “toolbox,” take your cursor to iTune backup or restore click on it, double click the backup data in popup windows, click messages icon and select SMS.DB file and then click the “export button” to export this file to any folder of your choice. After exporting please close the iTunes software. Now open the cock SMS recovery software from the folder you saved it. Click on the file and click on SMS database. Then select the exported SMS.db file for opening. At this juncture, you will see that other undeleted SMS appears click back on file and select recover deleted SMS. Once that is done, you have successfully retrieved your deleted messages on your iPhone.
